Steam boiler is a special equipment that uses fuel combustion or electricity to convert heat energy to heat water to generate steam, which is widely used in industrial, commercial and public facilities.
Core definition and classification
Essence: Thermal energy conversion equipment that produces steam of specified parameters (temperature, pressure) and quality by heating the water in the pot
By fuel :
Gas steam boilers (e.g. natural gas)
Oil-fired steam boiler
Electric steam boiler
Coal-fired steam boiler
Classification by structure :
Vertical type: often used for small equipment, two-return structure, small footprint
Horizontal: mostly three-return pyrotechnic tube or pot shell structure, suitable for medium and large scenes
Key technical features
Pressure and volume requirements: The design normal water level volume is ≥ 30L, and the rated steam pressure is ≥ 0.1MPa (gauge pressure), which is included in the national special equipment supervision.
Thermal efficiency :
The thermal efficiency of gas/oil boilers generally ≥ 95%, and some models reach more than 98%
The thermal efficiency of coal-fired boilers is about 60%–80%
Emission standards: Boiler air pollutant emission standards (GB13271-2014) must be complied with, and the NOx emissions of low-nitrogen combustion models can be as low as 30mg/Nm³.
Degree of automation :
Fully automatic controller, support start and stop, load adjustment, automatic water supply with self-diagnosis, sound and light alarm, fault automatic shutdown and other functions
